CIFC Health
CIFC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been a part of the community since it was founded in 2003. Headquartered on Main Street in the heart of Downtown Danbury, CIFC exists to serve and strengthen our communities through education, housing, wellness, and health care. Serving Norwalk and Greater Danbury, CIFC serves individuals and families at every stage in their lives. CIFC Health serves all ages in our award-winning Health Center – the only Teaching Health Center in Connecticut.
CIFC Health provide medical, dental, and behavioral care on a sliding fee scale, ensuring access for all. CIFC Health also and has a women’s clinic for reproductive care and operates the WIC program that provides nutritional support for new mothers and their young children. CIFC manages the Head Start and Early Head Start programs for Norwalk and Northern Fairfield County. More than 300 residents live at Beaver Street Apartment Complex in Danbury, a Section 8 apartment complex overseen by HUD and managed by CIFC. We also have basketball courts and Danbury’s only indoor public pool at the Danbury Community Center, where we offer aquatic activities, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, yoga, Zumba, and more to beat the heat or escape the ice.

CT Army National Guard
The Connecticut Army National Guard is a community based part-time military service that stands at a moments notice to provide support to our community and country.

CT State Community College
CT State Community College Naugatuck Valley where you receive a world-class education without a world of debt and the home to FREE College. Your success is our expectation, that’s why we offer day, evening, weekend, and online classes in over 100 degree, certificate and work-force training programs. With campuses in Waterbury and Danbury.

Daily Bread Food Pantry
Daily Bread Food Pantry, the largest pantry in northern Fairfield County, has been serving food-and nutrition-insecure families since 1984. During the winter of 2025 we opened our “super pantry,” a bright, dignified “supermarket-like”operation where healthy, fresh food is front and center. Every week we serve about 800 households.

Danbury Democratic Town Committee
The Danbury Democratic Town Committee (DDTC) is the official organization in Danbury, CT representing the Democratic Party. Our mission is to help elect Democrats representing Danbury to Federal, State, and local office; influence city priorities and policy, build awareness of the causes, policies, and values for which Democrats stand, and work to expand the base of registered Democrats in Danbury.

Danbury Elevate Charter School
We are a non-profit charter school management organization providing information on the Danbury Charter School that we are championing to open.

Danbury Music Center
The Danbury Music Centre, is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Since 1935, we have been providing classical, community music experiences through our ensembles and events.

Danbury Robotics
Lego robotics! We bring the bots; come drive them!

Non profit FIRST robotics community in Danbury. We’ll have remote controlled robots for attendees to enjoy. All ages 3+.

Dear Dad Tour – The Connecticut Fatherhood Initiative
The 2025 CT Fatherhood Initiative’s Dear Dad Tour is a video booth tour that travels throughout the State of Connecticut collecting anecdotal stories from people like you. Stories about fathers – people share thoughts about their own fathers, themselves as fathers, their co-parents or partners as fathers, or any man in their lives that plays a paternal role… the choice is yours as the storyteller!

Norwalk River Valley Trail
The Friends of the NRVT is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit pursuing the following mission: To design, build and maintain a universally accessible, multi-use, 30-mile Trail linking Norwalk, Wilton, Redding, Ridgefield and Danbury, providing improved health and well-being, as well as alternative transportation, for everyone in our community.

Western CT Volleyball Club
Coaching a Travel Girls Volleyball club involves training and mentoring young female athletes, typically aged 12–18, who compete at a high level in regional and national tournaments. The role includes developing individual and team skills, creating practice plans, fostering teamwork and discipline, and managing game strategies during competitions. It also requires strong communication with players, parents, and club administrators, along with a commitment to travel and weekend tournaments throughout the season.
