CIFC (CT Institute For Communities, Inc.)
CIFC serves and strengthens our communities through education, housing, wellness, and health care. CIFC manages the Head Start and Early Head Start programs for Norwalk and Northern Fairfield County, making high quality early-education accessible to families. CIFC manages more than 300 residents at Beaver Street Apartment Complex in Danbury, a Section 8 apartment complex overseen by HUD. CIFC also manages the Danbury Community Center which has Danbury’s only indoor public pool that offers aquatic activities; and an indoor gym that offers basketball, volleyball, pickleball, yoga, Zumba, and much more. CIFC Health is an award-winning Federally Qualified Health Clinic serving the Greater Danbury community’s medical, behavioral, and dental care needs. CIFC Health is Connecticut’s only Teaching Health Center and currently houses internal medicine and psychiatry residency programs.

City of Danbury Health & Human Services
The City of Danbury Department of Health & Human Services is comprised of four divisions: Environmental Health, Community Health, Emergency Preparedness, and Human Services. Our department provides a variety of services, including health inspections (such as food establishment and septic inspections), vaccines (flu and routine childhood vaccines), educational materials, health promotion programs/events, epidemiological data for the City, emergency preparedness and disaster response tailored to our needs, human services such as addressing fair rent issues and eviction prevention, as well as other programs like well water testing and radon testing.

Connecticut Army National Guard
The Army National Guard is a part-time state-based military component that serves a dual mission. Each Guard unit serves under the command of their state governor to respond to natural disasters or other state emergencies. In addition, Guard units can be activated to defend the nation when needed.

CT State Community College – Naugatuck Valley
Connecticut State Community College promotes student success through affordable access to academically rigorous and innovate education, career training, and lifelong learning. Daily Bread Food Pantry
Daily Bread Food Pantry, founded in 1984, is one of the oldest and largest pantries in southwestern Connecticut. We are now seeing thousands of food insecure families throughout the year – ten times as many as just a few years ago.

At our spacious, welcoming super pantry, set to open in early Fall 2024, we will be able to offer even more fresh, healthy food and guests will be able to shop for the items they prefer while also connecting with vital social services. Danbury Democratic Town Committee
The Danbury Democratic Town Committee (DDTC) is the official organization in Danbury, CT representing the Democratic Party. Our mission is to help elect Democrats representing Danbury to Federal, State, and local office; influence city priorities and policy, build awareness of the causes, policies, and values for which Democrats stand, and work to expand the base of registered Democrats in Danbury.

Danbury Elevate Charter School
We are a non-profit charter school management organization providing information on the Danbury Charter School that we are championing to open.

Danbury Hackerspace
The Danbury Hackerspace is a non-profit coworking space and tech and manufacturing incubator that teaches CAD and enables artists, entrepreneurs, and craftspeople to have access to 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC routers. We have a free Open House every Thursday night from 7-10pm at the 158 Main Street Innovation Center. In the Fall of 2024 we will be opening a second and much larger Makerspace in Danbury. Danbury Mexican Club
We bring and share Mexican history and culture to our Danbury community. Educate on history, traditions, dances, music, and food. Provide lessons on Mexican dances, guitar playing, Mexican cuisines and English. Encourage and guide new Danburians on community resources, schools, civic duties focused on ALL that is offered in our Danbury community. Fundraise to enrich our community by providing after school activities for our youth and adult education.
